Upgrade 23 May 2018 - Accelerated rollout of 'Product recommendations' block

dotmailer's scheduled maintenance and upgrade for 23 May 2018 includes the following changes:

Continued rollout of our 'Product recommendations' block

We're accelerating the rollout of our 'Product recommendations' block to accounts, which began on 9th May. The block will allow you to generate dynamic content for your emails and landing pages based on the best selling items in your online store.

To have access to this feature, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Your account needs to have been migrated to our Google BigQuery infrastructure
  • Once that's done, you'll also need to be syncing the following data from your ecommerce store:
    • Products
    • Orders

Once these Insight data collections are present, and have data, then you'll be able to make use of the product recommendations block.

New 'Get account scoped transactional data' API operation/method

We've added a new operation/method to the API to enable an Insight data collection to be retrieved at account level (AccountInsight).
