Using the search tool

You can search and filter your contacts by using the search tool, allowing you to perform further actions with the returned contacts.

Using the search tool

Select Contacts from the navigation panel and then select and go into an individual address book (this can include the 'All contacts' and 'Test' address books).

At the top of the screen is the search tool.

This can be used to find a contact by email address. Simply type in part of the email address and hit Enter or click on the magnifying glass icon.

The contact or contacts matching the criteria will be returned in a list.

You can then use any of the 'More actions' options with the result set, or export them.

Click the red cross icon in the search box to cancel the search results and return to the original address book list.

Why is it that we cannot search for domains within the contacts... It seems the search will only allow for search of alias but not domains.

Thanks for your question. You can search for domains within your contacts. However, you'll need to enter the full domain name as the search term. For example, '' will provide results but just 'gmail' won't.
