Using the 'Page views' report

This report shows activity on your website as recipients click through from your campaign, providing the total page views generated. For this report to register, however, you need to use our site tracking feature so that we can track this activity.

Using the report

Firstly, the 'Page views overview' displays all the pages on your website which were viewed as the result of a click through from your campaign and how many times each page was viewed.

Clicking on Export here will allow you to export the page views overview data into a CSV file.

Clicking on a particular URL for a page will then display the 'Page views' report, showing each recipient that viewed that page and how many times they viewed it.

Clicking on the More details icon provides a further level of detail about a particular recipient, displaying a window showing each page they visited and the date and time of the viewing. This allows you to build a comprehensive picture of a particular recipient's interest area.

Clicking on the Display button of either 'Page views overview' or 'Page views' will enable you to change the view of the report screens.

To view the drill down detail on other reports, use the More reports... button located next to the title of the report. This will provide a menu from which you can select the report type as shown below:

You can also filter the results displayed here by using our filter report function. The Filter button is located at the top right of the report (across from the More reports... button).

When will it be possible to export a list of the Contacts that have triggered a Page View in the reporting along with the Pages they have viewed?  Essentially its the same report as the Links Clicked report so if I have clicked 5 links, I appear on 5 different rows with details of the links I have clicked, keyword, datetime etc.

I know this is possible to extract via the API, but this requires additionally work and would be much better and powerful to have within the Reporting Suite myself in my opinion.

    Hi Jon,

Putting export functions on the existing table sounds quite doable; we've got an open feature request for it (it looks like you've already voted for) at:

Although, it sounds like you want to be able to export all the page views for a campaign at once; so that would be a new view of the table (all clicks for all links)?

    Hi Stoo,

As long as the export allows the user to export ALL the Page Views that have resulted from a campaign then I think that is what majority of users would want.  My assumption is the report will contain the openers email address or contact id, URL the page view code tracked and when it happened.  If its possible to include the keyword that they clicked on the email campaign and Contact Data Fields that would be even more useful.

It's essentially a more comprehensive version of
