On Saturday 14 July 2012 we will be performing some system upgrades (installing a new database server) which will result in our database and services being unavailable for up to 4 hours between 11am and 3pm UK time (10:00 – 14:00 UTC).
This upgrade will dramatically increase the speed of a number of operations in dotMailer and pave the way for more data-intensive features. For those more technically inclined, the specification is detailed on our blog.
Why do you need to know?
During this time many of our services will be unavailable – most notably the following:
- Links in email campaigns may be unavailable — rather than being taken to the URL you have linked to, your contacts will see an error message
- Links to the unsubscribe page will not work
