Upgrade 6th November 2013 — New and improved social sharing block design

Scheduled maintenance and upgrade for dotMailer on 6th November 2013 includes the following upgrades and changes:

New and improved social sharing block design

We're pleased to announce a new social sharing block design in EasyEditor, featuring an improved look and enhanced functionality.

Editing the social sharing block is no longer performed from within the dialogue box as before but is now done in the EasyEditor toolbar.

After selecting the network icons you wish to add, click on the social sharing block. The toolbar will then alter as above to allow you to:

  • change the font, size and colour of the icon's name
  • bold, italicise or underline the name
  • choose from four icon sizes
  • position the name to the right of the icon or underneath it, or have icons only
  • choose how many columns you want to spread your icons across
  • stretch to fit your icons evenly across your block
  • customise the horizontal and vertical spacing of your icons

Improved sector benchmarking form on the dashboard

We've changed the free benchmarking form on the dashboard as we felt it needed a bit of a refresh. We've simplified the nature of the form and we've updated the sector list, which was becoming outdated.
